Snappy (VRChat: Reptile Base)
Snappy is an all-around reptile/kobold/dragon avatar. It comes with many in-game toggles and customizations, including those for horns, sweater toggles, wing, ear, eyelash, etc!
Includes:
- A .zip file properly organized, containing the following:
- Unity package of Snappy, with physbones and all toggles already set up
- Blend file to change the base mesh (.blend + .fbx)
- A single substance painter (.SPP) file for texture editing. (If you do not have substance painter, any 2D software will also work. UV layout will be included, as well as both default body textures)
- Mesh has been separated for ease of texturing
- A slot for a custom texture built-in to the toggle features
- If you make a custom texture of Snappy, but still want to access all default textures in game, the skin cycle set up in Unity allows for a custom texture. Further instructions are provided in a readable text file.
- Instructions on how to best customize Snappy, and how to upload it to VRChat!
Requires:
- Unity 2019.4.31f1
- VRChat SDK (available on VRChat's official website)
- Blender, or a suitable 3D editing software (if you wish to edit the mesh)
- Substance painter, or alternatively a 2D editing software (such as photoshop) to edit textures
- Poiyomi Unity Shader (available to download for free)
Features:
This base includes many different customization options for the body! Features can be mixed and matched to suit your desired species!
- 3 bangs variants (Curly, Long, Sideswept, None)
- 3 sweater variants (Ice Cream, Rainbow, Plain)
- Plain texture has been set up to easily hue-shift
- 3 premade textures (Freckled, Striped, Plain)
- Textures include an alpha mask to easily apply a hue-slider on all default textures
- 3 horn variants (Small, Long, Curved, Hooked)
- Slider for snout length
- Slider for wing pose (folding)
- Toggles: Sweater (on/off), wings (on/off), ears (on/off), horns (on/off)
- Horn Toggles (on/off): Brow horns, Head horns (front, main, back), Cheek horns, Nose horns, Tail horns
- 4 facial expressions, using hand gestures (Happy, Sad, Angry, Shock)
- Icons for all submenus, toggles, and sliders for ease of use!
- Full lip syncing
- Physbones on ears, wings, cheeks, and tail
- A whole lot of CUTENESS!

Changelog:
- Version 1.1: Slightly adjusted ear bones, so "ears down" looks more attached to the head.
- Version 1.2: Slightly adjusted UV maps where they had some overlapping islands
- This adjustment to the UV maps are nondestructive. Old textures should still function fine with the new UV maps.

The viewpoint for this avatar is set to the mouth area because of the size of the head, which would normally cause trouble with full-body tracking. The viewpoint may need to be adjusted slightly in order to better suit fullbody.
Please note that by buying the product, you are not buying unity/blender lessons. If you are new to unity, blender, or vrchat, there are plenty of tutorials online! Of course, if you are genuinely stumped I would be happy to help you out :)
