Deerilee (VRChat: Deer/Doe Base) (Quest Compatible)

Deerilee is a cute and simple, beginner friendly Quest Compatible* deer! Please thoroughly read the product description prior to purchase :)

Deerilee comes with several facial expressions, Pet and Boop triggers, loads of customization options, and more!

*Performance ranking on Quest is "Poor", but will upload fine.

Includes:

• A .zip file properly organized, containing the following:
• Unity package of Deerliee, with physbones and all toggles already set up
• Blend file to change the base mesh (.blend + .fbx)
• A single substance painter 2022 (.SPP) file for texture editing. (If you do not have substance painter, any 2D software will also work. Default textures are also included)
  • Mesh has been separated for ease of texturing
  • Please ensure to combine exported pngs prior to use in Unity.
• A slot in unity for a custom texture built-in to the toggle features
  • If you make a custom texture of Deerliee, but still want to access all default textures in game, the skin cycle set up in Unity allows for a custom texture. Further instructions are provided in a readable text file.
• Instructions on how to best customize Deerilee, and how to upload it to VRChat!

Requires:

• Unity 2019.4.31f1
• VRC Creator Companion
• Poiyomi Toon Shader
  • Not needed for quest-only users.
• Blender, or a suitable 3D editing software (if you wish to edit the mesh)
• Substance painter, or alternatively a 2D editing software (such as photoshop) to edit textures

Features:

This base includes many different customization options for the body! All of these listed are set up and ready to use in-game already.

• Sliders:
  • Horn shape (Antelope -> Gazelle -> Upwards -> Stub -> None)
  • Hue slider for Plain Dress option (Not available on Quest)
• Toggles:
  • Flowers (on/off)
  • Dress (on/off)
  • Ear twitch animation (on/off)
    • Available as a button and toggle
  • Tail twitch animation (on/off)
    • Available as a button and toggle
• 3 sets of premade textures
  • Body: Deer, Gazelle, and Piebald deer
  • Clothing: Pink w/ Flowers, Blue Plain (Hue Slider), Half n Half (white + green)
• 4 facial expressions, using hand gestures (Happy, Sad, Angry, Shock)
  • Happy is also triggered when head is pat
  • Silly/Tongue out is a separate expression that is triggered when the nose is booped. This can be triggered while any other facial expression is also active.
• Contact triggers for boop and pat as mentioned above
• Ear and Tail dynamics
  • Button for Ear twitch
  • Button for Tail Twitch
  • Idle Toggle for occasional Ear Twitch
    • The twitching ear will not be affected by facial expressions when this is enabled.
  • Idle Toggle for occasional Tail Twitch
    • Tail touch contact may not be triggered when this is enabled.
  • Tail twitches when touched
• Icons for all submenus, toggles, and sliders for ease of use!
• Eyelook and Visemes
• Physbones on ears, tail, and dress.
• A whole lot of CUTENESS!

Notes:

The viewpoint for this avatar is set to the mouth area because of the size of the head, which would normally cause trouble with full-body tracking. The viewpoint may need to be adjusted slightly in order to better suit fullbody.

This avatar functions best in halfbody, but works in fullbody. Due to the longer legs, fullbody leg movements are more sensitive than average.

The Quest and PC version of this avatar use the same mesh.
